Job summary

Lonza in Basel, Switzerland, is seeking an Associate Principal Scientist Bioanalytics to lead pharmaceutical development projects within Development Bioanalytics (DevBA) from various clients and in different preclinical phases.

You will be accountable for delivering work packages on time, providing analytical results and reports, addressing risks, and representing DevBA in internal and customer meetings as SME, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent in Biochemistry, Biotechnology or Analytical Science.
• Minimum 2–3 years of industrial experience in Life Sciences.
• Experience with potency assays across modalities (mAbs, Bi/trispecifics, enzymes, peptides, recombinant proteins, ADCs).
• Knowledge of analytical methods guidelines (ICH Q14 / ICH Q2).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage pharmaceutical development projects in Development Bioanalytics (DevBA).
• Deliver work packages on time and provide analytical results and reports.
• Assess and mitigate risks and resolve issues affecting deliverables.
• Represent DevBA in internal and customer meetings as SME.
• Support planning tools and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders.
