Job summary

coni + partner ag is supporting an international bank in Geneva to recruit an internal auditor or process risk specialist. You will review operational risk scenarios, strengthen internal controls, and evaluate key risk mitigations across processes.

With a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Information Systems or Business Administration and experience in banking risk, you will analyze incidents, test data quality, and help senior management with risk assessments and transparency.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Business Administration.
• CIA, CISA advantageous.
• Banking experience in internal audit or operational risk.
• Knowledge of private banking processes and corporate governance.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing review of operational risk scenarios using IT data.
• Ensure compliance and development of internal control systems.
• Analyze and evaluate key controls and risk mitigations.
• Analyze operational incidents and processes for improvements.
• Test controls and data quality of data feeds regularly.
• Develop methodologies, procedures and reports.
• Support risk self-assessments and transparency in events and data.
• Promote risk awareness through targeted sustainability training.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects for senior management.

Associate Operational Risk

Your Tasks:

• Ongoing review of operational risk scenarios based on the analysis of various IT data
• Ensure compliance and further development of the internal control system
• Responsible for the analysis and evaluation of key controls and risk mitigating measures in all processes
• Analyzing operational incidents and processes
• Reviewing systems for potential control weaknesses
• Performing control testing
• Performing regular testing of data quality of various data feeds
• Further development of methodologies, procedures and reports
• Supporting departments in conducting risk self-assessments and creating transparency in events, data interpretations and conclusions
• Creating a culture of risk awareness for risk mitigation through targeted sustainability training
• Ad hoc projects for senior management.

Your Profile:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Business Administration
• CIA, CISA as an advantage
• Banking experience gained in a Big Four company, in an internal audit or an operational risk department
• Knowledge of private banking business and its processes
• Knowledge of internal control systems and corporate governance
• Experience with end-to-end risk audits
• Experience with developing complex risk systems as a Project manager
• Analytical and conceptual skills
• High attention to details
• Independent and team-orientated personality with a solution-oriented approach
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel and/or Access/Power BI
• Fluent in English and French, German as an advantage.
