Job summary

Novartis AG in the US (East Hanover, NJ) seeks an Associate Director, I&A Excellence to lead demand management across the I&A pillars, oversee intake, tracking, prioritization, and prepare leadership-ready materials.

You will build and maintain operating model artifacts, dashboards, and reporting to reveal service levels and throughput; travel and stakeholder collaboration are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in insights, analytics, business operations, program management, strategy, or management consulting.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Economics, Engineering, or related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience operating demand management, intake, project portfolio, or prioritization processes across multiple teams or functions.
• Experience documenting and maintaining operating model materials, process maps, and RACI / accountability frameworks in a matrixed environment.
• Experience working with senior stakeholders and preparing materials for leadership forums.
• Experience building and maintaining operational dashboards and reporting to track service levels, throughput, and delivery performance.

Responsibilities

• Supports enterprise-wide scope spanning all I&A pillars (Commercial I&A, Clinical Care & Access I&A, Enterprise I&A, and the Analytics, Capabilities & Modeling CoE), typically with primary responsibility for an assigned set of pillars or process areas.
• Day-to-day operator of the I&A demand management process - running intake, tracking, aggregation, and status reporting under the standards set by the Dir, I&A Excellence.
• Maintains the artifacts of the I&A operating model: process documentation, stakeholder contracts, interface definitions, and RACI frameworks.
• Builds credibility and influence with pillar teams and cross-functional counterparts through consistent, reliable execution rather than positional authority.
