Job summary

Napapijri is seeking an Associate Designer to join our team in Stabio, Switzerland. You will participate in all design steps to create the Napapijri apparel collection across multiple categories, reporting to the Design Director.

You will propose creative ideas, conduct trend research, and develop sketches while aligning with the brand's seasonal direction and business needs. You will collaborate closely with design, product development, and merchandising teams to execute seasonal concepts,

Qualifications

• BA in Fashion Design.
• 1–3 years of experience as an apparel designer.
• Fluent in English.
• Good knowledge of CAD design and strong skills in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign; experience with AI design preferred.
• Strong product development knowledge.
• Ability to build strong relationships across departments.
• Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Flexible and adaptive to change.

Responsibilities

• Assist in all design steps to create the Napapijri apparel collection across multiple categories.
• Propose creative ideas and design solutions; work on trend research and sketches.
• Collaborate with design team, product development, and merchandiser to align with brand direction and business needs.
• Support execution of seasonal concepts and briefs.
• Research lifestyle and outdoor trends and stay updated on contemporary styles.
• Design new, trend-driven products and evolve successful items from the past.
• Partner with Designers to ensure brand consistency and color strategy.
• Create seasonal concepts and color strategies and sketch new designs.
