Job summary

Alpen Partners AG, Freienbach SZ-based group, seeks a CFO Assistant & Bookkeeper to support the CFO across the Alpen Group, including Alpen Partners AG, Alpen Partners International AG, Goldbach Capital, and FORMS Gallery. You will manage day-to-day bookkeeping, assist with closings, and contribute to reporting and admin tasks.

This hands-on role requires accuracy, discretion, and adaptability, plus German/English communication and Swiss OR knowledge.

Qualifications

• Completed KV apprenticeship or equivalent in finance
• Additional training in accounting/finance preferred
• Few years bookkeeping experience in multi-entity env.
• Solid knowledge of Swiss OR accounting standards
• Experience with accounting software and Excel

Job description

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented CFO Assistant & Bookkeeper to support our CFO across the Alpen Group, including Alpen Partners AG, Alpen Partners International AG, Goldbach Capital, and our furniture and lifestyle business, FORMS Gallery, in Freienbach.

At the heart of the Group’s finance function, you will manage day-to-day bookkeeping across several entities, support month-end and year-end closings, and work closely with the CFO on financial reporting and administrative matters.

This is a varied, hands-on role. You may handle the accounting requirements of a FINMA-regulated asset manager one day and those of a private markets or lifestyle business the next. Accuracy, discretion, and adaptability are therefore just as important as technical expertise.

What We're Looking For

You're a precise and reliable finance professional with:

• Completed commercial apprenticeship (KV) or equivalent, ideally with further training in accounting or finance
• A few years of bookkeeping experience, ideally gained in a financial services or multi-entity environment
• Solid knowledge of Swiss accounting principles (OR)
• Familiarity with the regulatory environment of a FINMA-licensed institution is a plus
• Confident with accounting software and strong Excel skills
• Highly organized, capable of multitasking across multiple business units, and comfortable under pressure
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills in German and English; French is a strong plus
• High level of discretion and integrity; some of our entities are regulated (FINMA-licensed), so financial records and reporting are handled with strict confidentiality

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for one or more entities within the group, including invoice processing, payment runs, and account reconciliations
• Support the CFO with month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, and budget trackingMaintain accurate general ledgers and ensure bookkeeping records comply with Swiss accounting standards (OR)
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and authorities as needed
• Assist with VAT filings and other recurring regulatory submissions
• Provide general administrative support to the CFO, including document preparation and correspondence
• Help streamline and document bookkeeping processes as the group continues to grow
