Role Description

The Assistant Manager or Manager Audit role is a full-time position based in Zurich, structured as a hybrid role with a blend of on-site and work-from-home arrangements. The role involves planning, executing, and reviewing financial audits, including detailed analysis of financial statements and accounting records. Responsibilities include assessing internal controls, identifying potential risks, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations, and preparing clear audit reports and recommendations. The individual will collaborate closely with finance and accounting teams, coordinate with stakeholders to gather information, and support continuous improvement of audit processes and methodologies. The role also includes contributing to audit planning, assisting in training junior team members, and participating in discussions with management on findings and remediation actions.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Finance and Accounting, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant principles and standards.
• Proficiency in working with Financial Statements, including analysis, reconciliation, and interpretation of key metrics.
• Experience conducting Financial Audits, including planning, fieldwork, documentation, and reporting of findings.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills, with the capacity to evaluate data, identify trends, and draw evidence-based conclusions.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Familiarity with international accounting and auditing standards, and experience in a global or cross-border audit environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work setting.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional ethics.
