Alongside this field activity, you will devote part of your time to supervising and coordinating a small team, under the responsibility of the service director.

  • Seek concrete solutions to encountered problems, notably by mobilising existing resources, financial aid and networks, and propose measures to sustainably secure residents' situations;
  • Offer individualised support to residents facing social, family or adaptation difficulties, ensuring an accessible presence on site and encouraging the expression of their needs;
  • Advise and support residents and their relatives in their procedures as well as in sensitive or crisis situations;

  • Compile files and ensure their follow-up until completion, including renewals and requests for financial aid or specific support, in collaboration with the administrative secretary;
  • Collaborate with protection authorities, curators and institutional partners and maintain an external network to facilitate access to resources and appropriate solutions;
  • Work closely with the administrative secretary and the resident accounting department to ensure coordinated management of situations and follow-up of financial issues, particularly in cases of non-payment;
  • Participate in the integration and discharge processes of residents, ensuring continuity of their social support;
  • Maintain and ensure traceability of social files, draft necessary correspondence and guarantee confidentiality of information, accuracy of data as well as compliance with legal and institutional frameworks;
  • Organise and supervise the Resident Management team, coordinate its activities and support staff in fulfilling their responsibilities, fostering a work environment based on collaboration, communication and skills development;
  • Ensure, in collaboration with the service director, the consistency of practices and quality of services across all sites, and report situations likely to affect operation, organisation or service quality;
  • Participate in the coordination and organisation of residences within an interdisciplinary dynamic and actively collaborate with other managers and services of the institution;
  • Contribute to the evolution of practices and processes and lead or participate in projects related to your field of activity, as well as institutional initiatives regarding quality and social and environmental responsibility.
Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work from HES-SO with a Social Service option or equivalent qualification;
  • Proven professional experience in the social field, ideally 7 to 10 years;
  • Experience in supporting elderly people or in a medico-social environment is an asset;
  • Knowledge of the Geneva social network;
