The Canton of Solothurn is seeking an Application Manager (80-100%) for the HPSZ Solothurn and Olten. You will monitor ongoing application operations, maintain and support school software, and assist in project implementations within an educational setting.

You bring HF-level IT or business informatics education, strong O365 know-how, and proven experience with school administration apps. You will train staff, manage requirements, and act as an internal service provider with teamwork and

The Special Education School Centre (HPSZ):

One school - four locations. We teach and support our pupils holistically and individually from kindergarten age to school leaving. Our diverse educational offerings enable good academic, social, and personal development.

For the HPSZ Solothurn and Olten we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an Application Manager, 80-100%.

Your responsibilities

• You monitor the ongoing application operations.
• You ensure the control, maintenance, and support of the software for the HPSZ.
• You support the Head of School IT in the implementation of projects.
• You triage and resolve technical problems and application errors (first-level support) or forward them.
• You train staff in the core applications.
• You continuously analyse, document, and develop the existing core processes.

Your profile

You have a higher vocational education (e.g. IT specialist HF, business economist HF, business informatics HF). In addition to very good O365 knowledge, you have experience with applications in the administrative school environment. You can demonstrate experience in requirements and project management. For this role, you bring a certification as ICT Supporter SIZ or experience as a power user. Thanks to your interconnected thinking, you quickly grasp different interests and requirements and carefully weigh them against each other. You see yourself as an internal service provider with a high level of commitment and work solution- and team-oriented.
