Ekkiden in Lausanne is seeking an RF/Antenna Engineer to reinforce its R&D team with hands-on experience in antenna design, RF testing and subsystem development for satellite communications.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering group, take ownership of design, simulations and validation activities, and contribute to a roadmap for phased array antennas. Fluent English required in a dynamic, international environment.

Qualifikationen

• BS in Electrical Engineering or a similar field with 5+ years of hands-on experience.
• Experience in RF & Microwave or antenna development and research.
• Knowledge of RF design theories; designing and testing activities are a plus.
• Experience in RF design of Ka, Ku, X, C and S-band RF-structures.
• Knowledge of EDA tools CST, ADS, HFSS, Ticra, Matlab.
• Experience and adaptation in exchanges/workflows with Altium.
• Fluency in English.

The Role

We are seeking a RF/Antenna Engineer to reinforce our client's Lausanne R&D team with the latest RF testing proficiencies. As an important team member, you will join an interdisciplinary R&D team of hard-working and passionate individuals developing groundbreaking satellite communications antenna technologies.

Responsibilities

• You closely collaborate from highly qualified innovative RF/Antenna Design Engineers to define simulate and test and characterize RF sub-systems and antennas. When something does not get as expected, you enjoy investigating to identify the Root Cause.
• Accurately documenting and communicating your work is important for you.
• You work with early-stage demonstrators, as well as new industrialized designs ready for mass production. These topnotch sub-systems allow our team to deliver the best performing Phased Array Antenna systems, as defined in our long-term airborne and land-mobile product roadmap.

• BS of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field with 5+ years of hands on experience
• History of working in RF & Microwave or antenna development and research.
• Experience in RF & Microwave theories; validated experiences in designing and testing activities a plus
• Experience in the RF design of Ka, Ku, X, C, and S-band RF-structures and building blocks (phased arrays)
• Knowledge of EDA design tools such as CST, ADS, HFSS, Ticra, Matlab
• Experience and adaptation in exchanges / workflows with other software/disciplines (Altium).
• Fluency in English
