Job summary

CTC Resourcing Solutions is assisting a leading global pharmaceutical company in Basel, Switzerland. They seek an Analytical Scientist to develop methods for RLT drug substances and products, with emphasis on LC-MS and peptide analysis, for a 24-month contract.

The role requires 2+ years in analytical chemistry, English fluency, and ability to work in cross-functional teams. You will contribute to an expanding RLT program and implement modern analytical tools in a GMP context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in Life Sciences or equivalent with analytical focus.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with analytical methods and separation techniques (UHPLC, LC-MS, UV-Vis).
• Strong analytical knowledge of peptides and regulatory awareness (ICH).
• Ability to work in international, multidisciplinary teams and communicate findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement analytical methods for characterization and quantification of RLT drug substances/products.
• Plan, execute, document, interpret and report scientific experiments per timelines and quality standards.
• Contribute to RLT analytical toolbox using LC-MS and other state-of-the-art techniques.
• Participate in scientific exchange groups and present findings.
• Troubleshoot analytical methods and instrumentation with scientific rationale.
• Maintain lean, sustainable lab practices and instrument upkeep.
• Meet quality standards and timelines; ensure good documentation and lab practices.
