Gi Life Sciences Basel is seeking a hands-on Lab Technician to support Analytical Development for Synthetic Molecules. You will develop and optimize analytical methods (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, KF) to ensure quality assessment of APIs and intermediates for clinical and commercial use.

Join a collaborative team in Basel, contributing to method development, regulatory submissions, and continuous workflow improvements. 12-month term, start 01.11.2026, 80–100% workload, on-site in Basel.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training as a Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant) or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong hands-on experience with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC, GC, KF, and MS.
• Proven experience in analytical method development.
• Excellent scientific writing and documentation skills.
• Proactive and self-driven working style.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).

Aufgaben

• Development and optimization of robust analytical methods (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, KF) for quality assessment of starting materials, intermediates, and APIs.
• Planning and meticulous execution of experiments, including reaction monitoring.
• Collaboration with process development and cross-functional partners to coordinate analytical activities and sample management.
• Cooperation with the QC unit to ensure smooth transfer of developed methods.
• Preparation of high-quality documentation, including analytical procedures and reports supporting method validation and regulatory submissions.
• Use of innovative approaches and digital tools to continuously improve analytical workflows.
