Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field with initial professional experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data analysis, ERP systems, and reporting tools such as SAP, Excel, Power BI.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in automation, digital tools, data analytics, data engineering, or AI applications in business processes.
• Basic understanding of planning processes in the pharmaceutical industry; pharma/MedTech experience desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify process improvements; cross-functional collaboration and communication.
• Fluency in English is required; German at least B1 is preferred/desirable.

Purpose

In this role you will support the site planning organization through digital enablement, reporting automation, and advanced analytics. This role focuses on improving efficiency and visibility across material planning processes by developing automated solutions, leveraging AI-driven opportunities, and enabling data-driven decision-making. As the Analyst you closely with the Production Planning and Material Requirements Planning teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure reliable material availability while continuously improving planning processes to balance service levels, inventory, and costs. The role reports to the Master Production Planner.

You will be responsible for:

• Reporting, Analytics & Insights
• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing automated reporting solutions to support site planning and MRP processes, while driving simplification and standardization to reduce manual workload and improve data accuracy.
• Identifying and implementing opportunities to leverage digital tools and AI to streamline standard processes, in partnership with IT, GPEX, and planning stakeholders and in alignment with the digital roadmap.
• Generating and managing site planning reports that provide actionable insights into material availability, risks, and performance.
• Leading analyses of key drivers affecting material planning performance, including exception management and supplier-related constraints, and identifying trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities through data analytics.
• Inventory Planning & Performance Analysis
• Executing site material inventory projections in alignment with the Master Production Schedule, analyzing actuals against projections, and recommending corrective actions and inventory optimization opportunities.
• Support the Site Planning Team
• Partnering with MPS and DS colleagues to ensure the timely release of incoming materials, semi-finished products, and finished products.
• Providing analytical and reporting support to manage material constraints, supplier performance, and planning exceptions, while enabling planners with accurate and timely data and tools.
• Supporting the MPS team in its daily operational activities.

Your Key Interfaces in this role will include:Site Planning, including MRP, MPS, and planning leadership; Procurement and Supplier Management; Quality, including the batch release process; Operations and Manufacturing; IT, Digital, and Automation teams

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field, with first relevant professional experience. Initial or junior-level production planning experience will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data analysis, ERP systems, and reporting tools such as SAP, Excel, Power BI, or similar.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in automation, digital tools, data analytics, data engineering, or AI applications in business processes.
• Basic understanding of planning processes in the pharmaceutical industry, with initial experience in the pharmaceutical or MedTech industry considered desirable.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills in a cross-functional environment; fluency in English is required, and German at a minimum B1 level is preferred/desirable.
• Structured and self-motivated approach to work, with a willingness to support daily operations and contribute as a reliable and flexible team player.
