V2X is seeking an Assistant Airfield Manager to support an Airfield Management Services contract at Thule, Denmark. The role involves supervising airfield management functions, coordinating with aircrews, ATC, and base agencies to ensure safe operations, and planning airfield construction projects.

The candidate will provide guidance on NOTAMs, flight planning, weather information, and ground operations to support worldwide deployment and operations, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in any field and English Level 3.
• Driving license is required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with Airport Management.
• Airport Management PCG AM 002 or equivalent training acceptable.
• Airport Management CBT/AL training completed or in progress.
• Solid management experience with leadership training is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and perform airfield management functions and activities; step in for AFM when needed.
• Coordinate with aircrews, ATC, and base agencies for safe aircraft operation.
• Maintain and provide flight plans, NOTAMs, aeronautical charts, and weather info.
• Support aircrews with flight planning information and services.
• Coordinate billeting, messing, refueling, transport, and transient aircraft needs.
• Inspect airfields and plan airfield construction; ensure a safe operating environment.
