Job summary

AECOM is seeking an AI Solution Engineer to join our Zug, Switzerland team. This full-time, on-site role designs, develops, and implements AI-powered solutions for infrastructure projects, translating requirements into scalable architectures and collaborating with project teams.

You will build and integrate AI models, create demonstrations, support presales activities, and help shape solution proposals while ensuring reliable, scalable deployments across client environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience delivering AI or data-driven solutions in infrastructure, engineering, or related industries is an advantage.
• Strong software development skills with AI/ML frameworks, APIs, and modern programming languages.
• Consulting and Presales experience, with the ability to gather requirements, design solution architectures, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Sales and client engagement skills to support proposal development, demos, and solution presentations aligned with client needs.
• Integration experience, including connecting AI solutions with existing enterprise systems, data platforms, and engineering tools.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and attention to detail, with a focus on solution reliability and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI-powered solutions for infrastructure projects.
• Build and integrate AI models and software components.
• Prepare technical demonstrations and proofs of concept.
• Collaborate with consulting and presales teams to shape solution proposals.
• Explain AI capabilities in clear business terms for client engagements.
