Artificialy, based in Switzerland with offices in Lugano and Zurich, seeks an AI Scientist to design and deliver LLM-based solutions for financial sector clients. You will own solution design and evaluation within a project team and collaborate with engineers and domain experts to integrate solutions into enterprise ecosystems.

This role can be based in Lugano or Zurich and requires onsite work of at least 80%. Candidates must be based in Switzerland or willing to relocate to Switzerland.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of working experience as AI Scientist or in a similar role or PhD.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-based systems (RAG, agents, fine-tuning, or similar).
• Strong programming skills (Python, SQL) and familiarity with ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.).
• Strong communication and presentation skills to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English.

• Oversee the full lifecycle of LLM initiatives, from early experimentation and solution design through evaluation, delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Projects may involve retrieval-augmented generation, agentic systems, fine-tuning, LLM-based evaluation frameworks, or other applied generative-AI solutions across a varied portfolio.
• Collaborate with software engineering, infrastructure, and domain experts to integrate solutions into enterprise ecosystems and present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We are looking for a AI Scientist, who will work with clients in the financial sector to design and develop LLM-based solutions from early experimentation through to evaluation and delivery. You will own solution design and evaluation methodology within a project team, across a varied project portfolio.

About the Role
