Job summary

qiibee is seeking an AI-first Full Stack Engineer to own partner APIs and dashboards powering the qiibee ecosystem, including Miles & More and Etihad Guest. You'll fuse deep backend expertise with AI-powered workflows across ledgers, partner APIs and the React interfaces on top of them, taking features from architecture to deployment with a focus on correctness and documentation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering, with 4+ years on the backend.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate Elixir services with Phoenix, Ecto and OTP: APIs, workers and background jobs.
• Build and evolve our partner-facing REST APIs, including versioning, outbound webhooks and delivery guarantees.
• Work on money-adjacent systems where correctness comes first: ledgers, points balances, settlement and reconciliation.
• Own frontend features end to end in React and TypeScript, from the admin and partner dashboards to the API behind them.
• Use AI coding agents (Claude Code) daily to move faster, while reviewing their output.
• Review code substantively, and act as a second pair of eyes on system correctness.
• Write the reasoning down: clear PR descriptions, architecture notes, and docs updated in the same pull request as the code.
• Collaborate with product and our infrastructure team on deployment, monitoring and security on AWS.
