Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Product Verification Engineer focused on AI-assisted testing to verify treatment delivery systems and meet stringent medical device requirements.

You will work in an international, cross-functional R&D environment, applying AI-assisted verification approaches with human oversight, and collaborate with engineering teams to ensure patient safety and high quality results.

English fluency is required; German is a plus. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, CS, or a related field.
• 3+ years in software or system verification, preferably in medical devices.
• Experience using AI tools and evaluating AI outputs.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform verification activities for treatment delivery systems.
• Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated tests based on requirements.
• Use AI tools for requirement reviews and test design, ensuring trustworthy outputs.
• Evaluate, pilot, and share AI-assisted verification practices with human oversight.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and support troubleshooting with engineering teams.
• Contribute to requirement and design reviews and risk analysis.
