ETH Swiss GeoLab at ETH Zürich invites applications for the Agriculture Mission Lead. You will spearhead the agriculture-focused initiative within GeoLab, identifying high-impact challenges in Swiss agriculture and translating practitioner needs into research, data and product goals with field validation and adoption.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s or PhD in agricultural sciences or related field.
• Several years of applied research, program delivery or operational implementation in agriculture.
• Strong expertise in agricultural practice, production systems and crop management.
• Proven ability to translate challenges into actionable initiatives and outcomes.
• Experience designing mission, programme or applied R&D portfolios.
• Excellent stakeholder management across diverse practitioners, authorities and industry.
• Strong judgment under uncertainty and willingness to challenge established approaches.
• Excellent written and spoken English and German; French is an asset.

Aufgaben

• Spearhead the Agriculture Mission within ETH Swiss GeoLab.
• Identify high-impact challenges in Swiss agriculture and translate needs into research and product goals.
• Drive field validation, adoption and measurable mission outcomes.
• Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with external partners and the Geo-Intelligence team.
• Manage the delegated mission budget and track progress against milestones and KPIs.
• Represent ETH Swiss GeoLab in agricultural, scientific, policy and innovation communities.
