Zusammenfassung

International School of Zug and Luzern (ISZL) seeks an Eagles Club Assistant to support the EAGLES Club Teacher in planning, preparing and leading after-school activities for a group of children. Hours are 3pm-6pm on weekdays during term time.

Role involves creating an inclusive, safe environment, collaborating with staff, attending meetings and participating in relevant training. Prior childcare/play-based experience and English communication are important; Swiss work permit required.

Qualifikationen

• Training and experience of working with children in childcare, play-based or school settings.
• Understanding the role of play and outdoor learning in children's lives.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good English communication skills.
• Hold a valid work permit for Switzerland.

Aufgaben

• Plan, prepare and assist with age-appropriate activities under guidance.
• Lead inclusive activities and engage children in planned sessions.
• Set up spaces including furniture, equipment and outdoor areas.
• Consult with children and involve them in planning activities.
• Attend regular staff meetings and undertake relevant training.
• Maintain safe, welcoming environment and follow ISZL policies.
