Job summary

PAVE Space SA. seeks a Test Bench Technician to join a small, fast-moving team building test stands for rocket engine development.

You will assemble, install and modify mechanical systems for high-pressure benches, read drawings, and maintain records in a hands-on role. You will work on industrial equipment, high-pressure piping, and integration with engineers, contributing to a next-generation orbital transfer vehicle project in Villeneuve, Switzerland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a polymécanicien or industrial equipment assembler.
• 4 years of apprenticeship (CFC) in mechanical assembly or related field.
• Experience installing industrial equipment and high-pressure piping systems (e.g., Swagelok). Knowledge of welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and modify mechanical systems for test benches, including tubing, valves, fittings, regulators, manifolds, structural hardware, and fluid components.
• Assist with fabrication and light machining for brackets, supports, and integration hardware.
• Perform precision tube routing, bending, cutting, and installation for high-pressure systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and layouts.
• Maintain assembly records, tool lists and inventory.
