Zusammenfassung

Jet Aviation Basel is seeking one or more Lean Industrialization Managers to join our Basel operations. You will work across Engineering, Production & Installation, MRO, or Aircraft Completions to implement practical Lean solutions on the shop floor.

You will analyze processes, drive continuous improvement, and lead hands-on optimization projects with operators, technicians, and engineers to boost productivity and reduce cycle times in highly technical aviation environments.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Manufacturing or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proven experience in manufacturing, industrialization, lean operations or continuous improvement.
• Strong understanding of shopfloor operations and production workflows.
• Experience analyzing processes and implementing measurable improvements.
• Hands-on mindset and ability to translate analysis into practical solutions.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Aufgaben

• Find opportunities for improvement by analyzing processes, workflows, bottlenecks, waste, and inefficiencies.
• Design and implement practical Lean solutions to improve productivity and reduce cycle times.
• Drive continuous improvement directly on the shopfloor and within operational environments.
• Solve problems with operators, technicians, engineers, supervisors, and quality specialists.
• Lead improvement workshops and hands-on optimization activities using Lean methodologies.
• Improve flow and workplace efficiency through layouts, organization, tooling, and standards.
• Use data to drive decisions, monitoring KPIs such as productivity and downtime.
• Define corrective actions and ensure improvements are embedded and sustained.
