Zusammenfassung

Lineage Logistics is seeking a forklift operator for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 4pm-12:30am) in Geneva. Must have at least 2 years of stand up forklift experience, lift at least 40 lbs, and be able to work in cold storage environments with PPE.

The role includes RF data entry, daily equipment checks, and collaboration with truck drivers to ensure safety. Compensation starts at $16.97–$28.65 per hour, with a $1.50 shift differential.

Qualifikationen

• Basic math skills required.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius with PPE.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs (18 kg).
• Flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with varying noise levels in the work environment.

Aufgaben

• Position forks, lifting devices under/around pallets and loads to designated areas.
• Record weights, counts, and condition of frozen items via RF system.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Lead safety inspections on truck chalking and glad-hand process.
• Communicate with semi-truck drivers to ensure safety precautions.
• Monitor battery charge and properly charge storage equipment.
