Job summary
A leading regional municipality in Ontario is seeking a Privacy Officer responsible for supporting adherence to the Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA). This role includes managing privacy incidents, preparing policy recommendations, and delivering training. The ideal candidate has a Community College diploma and at least three years of experience in a related field. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while promoting privacy standards.

- Minimum three (3) years of related work experience, preferably in a public sector or healthcare organization.
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required.
- Proven experience leading or participating in Privacy Impact Assessments.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and prepare responses to applications made under PHIPA.
- Manage and conduct privacy breach investigations and prepare reports.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training for client groups.
