The Kitchen Services team is vital to our Food and Beverage operations at Casino Rama. We seek an energetic and enthusiastic individual who enjoys cleaning, organizing, and creating a spotless environment while supervising safely and efficiently. The Kitchen Services Supervisor ensures efficient dish and pot cleaning, maintains high cleanliness standards, and supports smooth operations across all food and beverage outlets. Organizational and planning skills are essential, combined with a motivated, passionate, and human-resource-oriented leadership style.

• Supervise and lead daily operations of the Kitchen Services Department effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with Casino Rama standards and safety regulations.
• Control inventory of cleaning supplies and wares.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in all back-of-house kitchen areas.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing facilities and equipment.
• Conduct coaching, counseling, recognition, performance management, and reviews.
• Adhere to Federal and Provincial Health Codes.
• Adjust staffing levels to meet departmental budgets.
• Support service teams with necessary items.
• Participate in completing tasks related to cleaning, ware washing, and related projects safely and effectively.
• Ensure proper use, storage, and disposal of wares, tools, chemicals, and equipment.
• Address operational issues and respond to questions or concerns.
• Complete all necessary forms related to Kitchen Services operations.
• Meet the needs of internal guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 3 years leadership experience.
• Experience supervising at least 15 staff members.
• Strong employee relations skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
• Effective labor management skills.
• Proficient in reading and writing, capable of detailed shift logs.
• Knowledge of chemicals, their use, and storage, with ability to train others.
• Good computer skills, familiarity with MS Outlook, Word, Excel; Stratton Warren experience preferred.
• Experience handling cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment.
• Ability to accurately count inventories.
• Ability to work all shifts in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
• French language skills are an asset.
• Must attain or have the ability to attain a proof of completion for the online Supervisor Health & Safety Awareness in 5 Steps program before start date.
• Compliance with Occupational Health and Safety duties and policies is required.

Flexible hours in a 24/7 operation are required; primarily overnight shifts. During training, hours will be mainly day shifts.
