Education: College/CEGEP

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Responsibilities:

1. Train staff
2. Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers
3. Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies
4. Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters and other material
5. Co-ordinate special publicity events and promotions
6. Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys
7. Initiate and maintain contact with the media
8. Conduct analytical marketing studies
9. Conduct social or economic surveys on local, regional, or international areas to assess development of potential and future trends
10. Design market research questionnaires
11. Develop portfolio of marketing materials
12. Evaluate customer service and store environments
13. Conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and Website promotions
14. Develop marketing strategies
15. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support

Supervision: 1 to 2 people
