Job summary

Carson Air Ltd. is seeking an IFR experienced pilot to join our Western Canada cargo operation. The First Officer will assist the Captain in safe, efficient flight operations in a dynamic and growing aviation company.

You will fly Metroliner-capable Metro aircraft with a Monday to Friday rotation, typically returning to base daily and flying 2–3 times per week. We offer competitive compensation, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Commercial pilot license with multi IFR rating.
• 500 hours of total flight time preferred.
• 100 hours of multi engine flight time preferred.
• No Transport Canada violations or suspensions.
• Preferred - Metroliner experience.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated computer skills and familiarity with Internet.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Assist the Captain in performing duties in a safe, efficient and timely manner according to regulations and company expectations.
• Maintain high safety standards and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Support flight operations with preparation and post-flight duties.

Pilots flying for Carson Air know their schedule in advance, with a great Monday to Friday rotation. The YYC crew is able to have a work-life balance seldom encountered in the aviation industry, typically flying 2-3 times per week and scheduled to return to home base at the end of every day. REQUIRED CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE or SKILLS

Successful applicants will be required to sign a Training Bond Agreement unless they already have a current type rating for the SW4 aircraft.
