Job summary

Paradies Lagardere is seeking a part-time Retail Associate at our Vancouver airport location. You will greet customers, provide personalized product recommendations, and process transactions efficiently on the POS while maintaining store appearance and standards.

The role requires excellent English communication, at least a year of retail experience, and flexibility for varied shifts. A Canadian Criminal Records Check and related background verifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Minimum one year of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team orientated environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively using the English language.
• Pass the Federal Criminal History Records Check, Paradies Background Check, and applicable FAA/DOT requirements.

• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Understand and comply with Cash Handling and Loss Prevention SOPs.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Minimum one year of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team orientated environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively using the English language.
• Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
• Proficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Ability to pass the Federal Criminal History Records Check, Paradies Background Check, and the applicable FAA requirements Department of Transportation requirements.
• Computer work, heavy lifting (40 lbs.), long standing periods, climbing lifting, bending, nights or weekend work, based in a store or group of stores, early morning, evening and weekend work and holiday.

Pay: $18.25/hour - Part- time

This position will require a Canadian Criminal Records Check (CCRC). This piece of documentation is a background check of your criminal history and can be acquired at your local police station. Are you willing to acquire a Canadian Criminal Record Check to work at the airport in this position?
