Job summary

Strive Living Society in Vancouver is seeking a caring Specialized Child and Youth Support Worker to join our residential program. This two-to-one setting supports children and youths with developmental delays and mental health needs, delivering person-centered care in our Vancouver location.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, follow health plans, document daily activities, and provide safety-focused care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health concerns and behavioral problems.
• Command of English language with ability to communicate effectively and complete daily documentation.
• Ability to follow health care plans, personal protocols, schedules, and activities.

Responsibilities

• Work in a two-to-one residential setting with individuals diagnosed with developmental delays and mental health concerns.
• Focus on behavior management and strengthening bond with each child in the home.
• Document daily activities and follow health plans and safety policies.
