Job summary

AGS Youth Soccer Club is seeking an energetic Soccer Development Officer to lead coaching sessions, oversee program delivery, and mentor part-time staff. You’ll shape the coaching and player experience, ensuring sessions are organized, engaging, and safe across multiple age groups.

The role requires mentoring existing coaches, coordinating session operations, and collaborating with management to maintain high-quality programming for children aged 18 months to 13 years.

Qualifications

• Passionate about working with and engaging young children.
• Availability on weekday evenings (4pm-8pm) and/or weekends (9am-12pm on Sat/Sun).
• Experience mentoring and/or supervising other coaches or staff.
• Lead engaging soccer sessions for children aged 18 months to 13 years, tailored to age and skill level.
• Supervise and mentor a team of part-time and seasonal coaches.
• Oversee session setup, event operations, and daily programming.
• Provide on-field and off-field training to coaching staff.
• Act as the liaison between front-line coaches and management.
• Excellent communication with children and parents.
