Job summary

Cree Nation Government in Chisasibi is hiring a Prevention Program Officer to deliver program-based prevention initiatives in community elementary schools. The role collaborates with schools, families and local partners to adapt offerings to Cree community needs and improve existing programs.

Qualifications

• College diploma in Social Work or related field.
• Experience with at-risk youth populations.
• Fluency in Cree, English; French is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver prevention programs in schools and community settings.
• Organize activities and coordinate sessions with schools and stakeholders.
• Present and adapt programs to local needs in the community.
• Prepare session materials and classroom delivery.
