Job summary

ROYAL OTTAWA HEALTH CARE GROUP is seeking a psychologist to lead and deliver evidence-based assessment and treatment for Youth Mental Health disorders within an interdisciplinary team. You will provide CBT-based therapies, mentor staff, and contribute to program development and research aligned with the Royal's strategic goals.

English proficiency required; bilingualism is an asset. The role emphasizes leadership, teaching, and collaboration with community partners to improve youth mental health

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in psychology from a CPA/APA accredited program.
  • Registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario or eligibility.
  • Authorized in Clinical Psychology with adult clients.
  • Evidence-based CBT for psychosis and related modalities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment to Youth with mental health disorders.
  • Deliver goal-oriented therapies including CBT; work in an interdisciplinary team.
  • Liaise with community agencies and service providers.
  • Lead program development and evaluation for the Youth Mental Health program.
  • Demonstrate leadership in clinical research and grant applications.
  • Engage in academic activities, supervision, and professional consultation.

Education

Doctorate in Psychology (CPA/APA Accredited)
Registered or eligible with College of Psychologists of Ontario
Authorized area of practice in Clinical Psychology
Authorized client population in adults
