Job summary

John Howard Society of Saskatchewan is seeking a Caseworker for the Youth Housing program. The role involves assisting in case management, supervising participants, and maintaining household operations within a residential setting.

You will connect participants to supports, provide crisis and emotional support, and help with problem-solving while upholding confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Secondary education from Saskatchewan Polytechnic or Community Colleges or University Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 1+ year practical experience with individuals facing homelessness, trauma or socio-economic challenges.
• Experience with crisis intervention and client-centered approaches.
• Ability to work rotational shifts including days, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
