Youth & Childcare Worker – BC Provincial School for the Deaf
Temporary Full time (35 hours/week) TERM (10 month) position (temporary until return of incumbent – April 2026)
Proficiency in American Sign Language required.
The Youth and Child Care Worker, as part of an educational team, assists in the planning, development, and delivery of programs which promote the social, emotional, and personal development of students. The Youth and Child Care Worker assists with the management and assessment of students' behaviour, to develop and apply appropriate behaviour management strategies. In addition, the Youth and Child Care Worker, under the direction of an administrator or designate, acts as a liaison in the school, family, and community.
