The Link: Youth and Family Supports in Manitoba is seeking Youth Care Practitioners to support youth in Healing Home programs. You will implement day-to-day operations, be a positive role model, and provide trauma-informed care while following organizational policies.
Responsibilities include supervising youth, organizing daily routines, facilitating activities, coordinating transport to appointments, maintaining documentation, and ensuring health and safety standards.

Youth Care Practitioners (YCP) in each Healing Home program operated by The Link: Youth and Family Supports report to the Program Supervisor of the Healing Home and are responsible for implementing all aspects of the day-to-day functioning of the program. The YCP is expected to provide ongoing, culturally sensitive care while adhering to organizational policies and procedures. A major focus of their work with young people is to be a positive role model at all times and to intervene purposefully into the young people's daily life events in a manner which will help the young person reach the agreed upon goals of their time within the program. Youth Care Practitioners work from a needs-based, trauma informed, relational child and youth care approach as per the organization expectations and standards.

SALARY: $19.00 per hour including benefits, pension, paid sick leave, northern allowance, vacation and personal days.
HOURS OF WORK: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 15:00-23:0 0 Saturday and Sunday 07:00-15:00, Varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
