Job description

Join to apply for the Yard Worker/Service-Maintenance role at PERI.

Responsibilities include:

1. Counting and servicing parts to meet quality, productivity, and rental standards.
2. Differentiating parts by colours, shapes, and sizes.
3. Handling materials manually, including large and small formwork and scaffolding components.
4. Removing, repairing, and replacing components using hand and power tools, such as hammers, chisels, screwdrivers, spanners, pliers, drills, saws, grinders, routers, and rivet guns.
5. Logging service work accurately.
6. Participating in cycle counts and inventory processes.
7. Maintaining excellent attendance and punctuality.
8. Attending health and safety meetings and demonstrating safety commitment.
9. Complying with company policies and safety standards.
10. Performing other duties as assigned.

Work Conditions:

• Outdoor work year-round with exposure to dust, dirt, grime, forklift and truck traffic, and moderate noise.
• Overtime availability during weekdays and weekends.
• Use of personal protective equipment, including respirators when necessary.
• Lifting up to 10 kg regularly and 20 kg occasionally.
• Standing and walking up to 10 hours daily.

Qualifications:

• Experience with hand and power tools in outdoor environments preferred.
• Ability to handle large and small parts and differentiate between colours, shapes, and sizes.
• Basic math skills for counting and measuring parts.
• Strong organizational and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety standards and policies.
