Job summary

Atlas-Apex Roofing Inc. is seeking a motivated Delivery Driver & Yard Worker to join our Nova Scotia team. The role includes loading/unloading materials, completing deliveries, and maintaining a safe yard and equipment logs in Dartmouth-based facilities.

Required is a valid Class 5 licence; forklift experience is preferred. The job requires physical work, long-term commitment, and the ability to operate under a drug- and alcohol-free policy. Training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence is required.
• Forklift certification and propane counterbalance forklift experience preferred.
• Experience towing trailers is preferred.
• Experience with inventory management or warehouse operations is an asset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Willingness to commit to long-term employment.
• Ability to work in a drug- and alcohol-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and disposal bins with materials and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard.
• Complete deliveries and pick-ups using company vehicles and trailers.
• Monitor and coordinate routine maintenance for company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on small engines and equipment.
• Maintain vehicle, equipment, and maintenance logs.
• Inventory counts and control.
• Perform general yard maintenance, including grass cutting and snow removal.

Atlas-Apex Roofing (Nova Scotia) Inc. is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our growing team as a Delivery Driver & Yard Worker.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and disposal bins with materials and equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and yard
• Complete deliveries and pick‑ups using company vehicles and trailers
• Monitor and coordinate routine maintenance, including oil changes, for company vehicles and equipment
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on small engines and equipment, as required
• Maintain vehicle, equipment, and maintenance logs
• Inventory counts and control
• Perform general yard maintenance, including grass cutting and snow removal

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence required, Class 2 or Class 3 licence considered an asset (DZ licence preferred)
• Forklift certification and experience operating a propane counterbalance forklift preferred
• Experience towing trailers is preferred
• Experience with inventory management or warehouse operations is an asset
• Familiarity with basic equipment maintenance, including small engine service, is an asset
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs or more
• Willingness to commit to long‑term employment
• Ability to work in accordance with our drug‑ and alcohol‑free workplace policy
