Job summary

Atlas-Apex Roofing Inc. is recruiting for full-time Roofing Installer and Roofing Labourer positions in Ottawa. The roles involve stripping old roofs, loading materials, site cleanup, and installing or repairing a variety of roofing systems.

Candidates must be a reliable team player who can work outdoors in all weather, lift heavy objects, and follow extensive safety policies with proper PPE. Training and apprenticeship opportunities are available within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be a team player with reliability and dependability.
• Able to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced roof environment.
• Able to lift weights over 50 lbs and handle outdoor weather.
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Strip and dispose of old roofing materials.
• Load and unload materials at the job site.
• Clean up the job site to maintain safety and standards.
• Install, repair, or replace various roofing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Stripping and disposing of old roof
• Loading and unloading material
• Job site clean-up
• Installing, repairing or replacing a variety of roofing systems

Skills/Qualifications:

• Must be a team player who is dependable and reliable
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced, high energy environment on the roof
• Weight handling can be over 50lbs
• On site work environment is outdoors and subjected to all weather conditions
• Work environment is on the roof and/or on the grounds that are dusty and noisy
• Worker must wear necessary Protective Equipment including but not limited to Safety Boots
• Own transportation is an asset
• Ability to learn and follow our extensive safety policy
