Job Purpose

The Yard Worker will m aintain organization of the yard and equipment all while providing support to shop operations. This position is working 7 days on 7 days off from 6am to 6pm.

What you will do...

• Loading and unloading of rental equipment
• Status verification of equipment on the yard
• Stage equipment for maintenance and repair activity
• Ability to diagnose and repair earth moving and aerial equipment
• Review reservation reports to ensure the correct equipment is ready to rent
• Wash and light maintenance of equipment, function checks of equipment prior to the next rental
• Equipment quality inspections
• Maintain organization on the yard
• Ability to deal with customers as required
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Results orientated, process and problem-solving skills
• Team player with initiative and a positive attitude
• Capable of driving equipment
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Yard or other operational experience at an equipment rental yard
• Construction related experience
• Technical degree related to equipment maintenance is a plus

Conditions of Employment

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
• A recent abstract will be required
• Ability to work 7 days on, 7 days off, 11.5 hours per day straight time
• All employment is contingent on successful completion of drug and background screening

Flights are provided out of Edmonton or Calgary only and you will be staying in camp.

Pay Range:$29.62/hr plus living allowance if local
