Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of rental equipment.
• Verify equipment status on the yard.
• Stage equipment for maintenance and repair activity.
• Diagnose and repair earth moving and aerial equipment.
• Review reservation reports to ensure correct equipment is ready to rent.
• Wash and perform light maintenance and checks before next rental.
• Conduct equipment quality inspections.
• Maintain organization on the yard.
• Interact with customers as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

Our Burnaby branch is looking for a yard worker to maintain organization of the yard and equipment all while providing support to shop operations. This position is Monday to Friday.

What you will do...

• Loading and unloading of rental equipment
• Status verification of equipment on the yard
• Stage equipment for maintenance and repair activity
• Ability to diagnose and repair earth moving and aerial equipment
• Review reservation reports to ensure the correct equipment is ready to rent
• Wash and light maintenance of equipment, function checks of equipment prior to the next rental
• Equipment quality inspections
• Maintain organization on the yard
• Ability to deal with customers as required
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
• A recent abstract will be required
• Previous experience repairing small tools considered an asset
• Previous experience in warehouse or general labour considered an asset

Type: Headcount Increase

Pay Range:$26 - $28 per hour
