Job summary

Herc Rentals is seeking a Territory Sales Representative in St. Albert, AB to drive growth across the local market. You will pursue new rental and sales opportunities, visit client sites, and cultivate relationships with construction and industrial customers.

The role requires 3–5 years of outside sales experience in equipment rental, a valid Class 5 license, and a proactive, results‑oriented mindset. A comprehensive benefits package and a company car are included.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales and branch revenue.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts through cold calling and visits to potential customer sites.
• Develop and evaluate new sales strategies/models and assess their effectiveness.
• Evaluate customers’ needs and build productive long-lasting relationships.
• Meet personal and team sales targets.
• Research accounts and generate or follow through sales leads.
• Attend meetings, sales events and training to stay abreast of the latest developments.
• Maintain and expand client database within your assigned territory.

Job Purpose

We are currently looking for Territory Sales Representatives to come and join our team. The successful candidate will come from the construction industry, be a go-getter, uncovering new opportunities for the territory in which to sell while having the ability to develop and nurture business relationships with companies and individuals in their designated territory. The Sales representative’s goal is to maximize revenue for the branch and the company.

What you will do...

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience in the construction or equipment rental industry.
• Must have valid class 5 driver’s license.
• A recent driver’s abstract will be required.
