Job summary

Armtec Inc. in Tillsonburg, ON, is seeking a Yard Supervisor to lead daily yard operations, ensuring safe loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving while driving team performance.

You will coach yard staff, coordinate workloads, maintain quality and safety standards, and resolve operational challenges in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.

• Leadership and supervisory abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, logistics or yard operations.
• Post-secondary education in a related trade is an asset.

Armtec has the following career opportunity in their new, state of the art facility in Tillsonburg, ON:

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Yard Supervisor leads daily yard operations, ensuring safe and efficient loading, unloading, shipping, receiving and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and support yard team members.
• Coordinate workloads and customer orders.
• Oversee shipping and receiving accuracy.
• Ensure quality and customer requirements are met.
• Monitor performance and productivity.
• Maintain a safe and organized yard.
• Resolve operational challenges proactively.
• Enforce Company quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in a related trade is an asset.
• Experience in a supervisory role.
• Manufacturing, logistics or yard operations background.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
