Job summary

Ritchie Bros. is seeking a Part-Time Yard Staff to join our yard operations team in Debert, Nova Scotia. You will safely receive, process, line up, and support auction day activities for consigned equipment while upholding our customer service standards.

Responsibilities include listing equipment, driving equipment, inspecting facilities, performing basic maintenance, and managing equipment keys. This role requires a valid driver's license and a strong focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Good customer service to internal and external customers.
• Valid and clean Driver License required.

Responsibilities

• Receives/releases consigned equipment for auction.
• Uses an auction listing to line up equipment for display prior to auction.
• Drives/operates heavy and light equipment.
• Performs facility inspections and provides housekeeping or maintenance as necessary.
• Performs basic maintenance on RBA owned equipment.
• Manages keys for equipment.
• Boosts equipment.
• Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment.
• Lot number equipment.
• Sets out signage, flagging, and trash receptacles for auction day.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Part-Time Yard Staff safely receives, processes, lines up, sale day support and check-out consigned equipment for the auction. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff
