Job summary

Wolseley Canada is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support fast-paced operations in Edmonton. You will load/unload, receive, stock, pick and ship customer orders, and coordinate with freight partners to meet delivery commitments.

The role requires reliability, basic computer skills, and a willingness to work outdoors in varying weather. Qualified candidates have warehouse experience, a valid driver’s licence, and forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse experience required.
  • Full driver’s licence.
  • Knowledge of plumbing/HVAC products is an asset.
  • General basic computer skills including Microsoft Office is required.
  • Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be dependable and reliable and willing to take initiative.
  • Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Forklift certification or ability to be certified.
  • WHMIS and TDG certification would be an asset.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather/temperatures.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload product to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments.
  • Receive incoming shipments and check for accuracy.
  • Put away product to correct areas in the Yard in a timely manner.
  • Pick, pack and ship customer orders, including documentation for shipment.
  • Transport material to/from sites and other local locations.
  • Liaise with freight companies and customers to determine shipping priorities.
  • Ensure good housekeeping and safety procedures in shipping area.

What you will do:
