Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest-growing rental business in North America, is seeking a Porter / Yard Worker. The Yard Associate is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, servicing equipment as needed, and inspecting equipment before and after rental to document damages.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred
• Experience and/or training in mechanical equipment repair preferred

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Effective communication skills (written and oral)
• Basic math skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Mechanical aptitude
• Safety-consciousness
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish or others) may be required based on location

Physical Demands

This role requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50+ pounds, and working indoors/outdoors as needed. Reasonable accommodations can be provided to comply with laws.

Additional Information

Related experience may include Porter Hostler, Yard Hand, Yard Jockey, Yard Spotter, Entry Level Mechanic, etc. The base pay range is $18.62 - $25.59. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, insurance, tuition reimbursement, and more. Benefits start after 30 days of employment.
