Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Porter/Yard Worker to join our North American fleet operations. You will operate in a fast-paced environment with varied daily tasks and opportunities to advance into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles.

Successful candidates communicate effectively with customers, perform basic math, and demonstrate a safety-focused mindset. Fluency in English and French is required. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.

Education or Experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral)
• Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc)
• General mechanical aptitude

• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Base Pay Range

Base Pay Range 21.23 - 29.18 Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
