Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled mechanic for our Laval, QC operation to service a wide range of diesel and heavy equipment and to support our fleet maintenance programs. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of mechanic experience with diesel or heavy equipment, plus potential training on specialty lines. A strong safety focus and ability to handle varied tasks are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems & troubleshooting skills
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems & troubleshooting skills
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.

Base Pay Range
