Company Description

The College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) is the regulatory body for medical radiation technologists (MRTs) and diagnostic medical sonographers (DMS) in Ontario. Our mission is to regulate the profession to serve and protect the public interest. CMRITO oversees five specialties including radiography, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, magnetic resonance, and diagnostic medical sonography.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Xray Technologist located in New Hamburg, ON. The Xray Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations, specifically radiography, ensuring radiation safety protocols are followed, maintaining radiologic equipment, and providing high-quality patient care. The role also includes accurately positioning patients, producing clear imaging results, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results.

Qualifications

• Licensed and registered with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologist of Ontario (CMRITO) certification
• Proficiency in Radiologic Technology and Radiology
• Strong knowledge of Radiation Safety practices
• A degree in Medical Radiation Technology or related field
• Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team environment
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Experience in a clinical setting is a plus
