Job description

Penticton Regional Hospital (PRH) is seeking Medical Radiography Technologists (MRT) to join the Medical Imaging Department on a casual basis. This opportunity can include on call.

Casual employment means work requirements can vary between zero and 37.5 hours per week. Work will be available on a short-notice, on-call basis and/or blocks of shifts pre-scheduled to relieve leaves of absence. There is an opportunity to apply for regular employment positions within the Internal Recruitment job posting process.

Shifts will be days, evenings, and/or nights. Availability to pick up short call is considered an asset.

What Will You Work On?

Our MRTs perform X-ray exams in a multi-disciplinary setting to clients within a variety of inpatient settings, including, but not limited to: ICU, ED, OR, and PAR. This position includes work with outpatients at PRH and at smaller satellite sites in the South Okanagan. Additional shifts can be picked up.

Effective April 01, 2024, the hourly wage will be $36.69 to $45.81 per hour.
