Interior Health Authority in Vernon, BC is seeking an experienced X Ray Assistant to join the Medical Imaging Department at Vernon Jubilee Hospital. This casual, as-needed position supports technologists by preparing patients, rooms and supplies, and performing clerical duties as required.

About The Job

In accordance with the vision and values of the organization, this position performs a variety of technical and support duties relating to Medical Imaging such as preparing patients for examination (including transport), assisting technologists with patients, preparing procedure rooms and equipment, and maintaining inventory of supplies. Performs related clerical duties.

This is a Casual opportunity

Casual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.
