Michael Garron Hospital seeks a Specialist in Wound Ostomy to advise nursing and medical staff on ostomy, fistulas and complex wounds. You will lead care planning and develop evidence-based protocols to improve wound outcomes across the hospital.
The role includes providing wound care and staff education across inpatient units, driving education initiatives and collaborating on quality improvement projects aligned with MGH values.
The role of Specialist, Wound Ostomy acts as an expert consultant and advisor to the MGH Community including nursing and physicians in the treatment of ostomies, fistulas, and complex wounds. This role is integral to the leadership of care planning for wound care throughout the Hospital; developing and deploying evidence-based clinical protocols to support the best clinical outcomes for wound management; collaborates on wound care initiatives, research and outcomes to support program innovation and excellence in accordance with MGH mission and values.
